Dear Friends and Neighbors,

Less than two days remain in the 2016 legislative session, scheduled to adjourn March 10. With the exception of a few bills, all there's left to do is vote on a final budget plan. At this point, budget negotiations are ongoing and I'm hopeful we'll have a bipartisan, balanced agreement soon. As soon as a budget agreement is reached and voted on by the body, I'll be sure to update you on what's included in that budget plan.

For the time being, I want to invite you to join Sen. Mark Miloscia, Rep. Teri Hickel and I for town halls March 15 and 17. This will be a great opportunity to ask any questions you have about the 2016 session, and share your ideas for how to make your government work better for you. Here are the details:
