Kochmar holds successful town hall in Milton
On Feb. 22, Rep. Linda Kochmar held three town hall meetings where citizens of the 30th Legislative District could ask questions and hear a briefing about the current session.
One of the town halls was held in Milton. More than 16 people participated including Milton's Mayor, Debra Perry, and city councilmembers Bryan Ott and Bart Taylor.
Several important topics were discussed including minimum wage, municipal liquor revenues, campaign finance reform, veterans benefits, transportation reforms and medical marijuana and I-502.
“I really appreciated hearing from constituents and city leaders about what they find most important,” said Kochmar, R-Federal Way. “We face lot of issues in the Legislature and hearing directly from those who have elected me helps me be the best representative I can be.”
