Kochmar holds successful town hall in Algona- Pacific
On Feb. 22, Rep. Linda Kochmar held three town hall meetings where citizens of the 30th Legislative District could ask questions and hear a briefing about the current session.
One of the town halls was held in Algona-Pacific. More than 21 people participated. There was very detailed discussion on I-502 and other important topics including the minimum wage, municipal liquor revenues, campaign finance reform, veterans benefits and transportation reforms.
“I really appreciated hearing from constituents and city leaders about what they find most important,” said Kochmar, R-Federal Way. “We face lot of issues in the Legislature and hearing directly from those who have elected me helps me be the best representative I can be.”
