Kochmar’s Federal Way town hall has great turn out

On Feb. 22, Rep. Linda Kochmar held three town hall meetings where citizens of the 30th Legislative District could ask questions and hear a briefing about the current session.

One of the town halls was held in Federal Way. More than 60 people participated in the event, including Federal Way City Councilmembers Kelly Maloney, Susan Honda, Jeanne Burbidge and Lakehaven Utility Commissioner, Don Miller.

Several important topics were discussed including health care, transportation funding and unemployment.

“I really appreciated hearing from constituents and city leaders about what they find most important,” said Kochmar, R-Federal Way. “We face lot of issues in the Legislature and hearing directly from those who have elected me helps me be the best representative I can be.” City of Federal Way Town Hall
