Dear Friends and Neighbors,
Thank you for the opportunity to serve as your 30th District state representative. I've been working hard this interim to stay active in the community, meet with constituents, attend events and official legislative meetings, and prepare for the upcoming session beginning in January. I am here to serve, and maintain regular office hours Monday-Friday from 7.a.m. to 3.p.m. Feel free to stop by my district office at 930 South 336th Street in Federal Way, or call (206) 429-2378 if you need assistance.
I hope you will mark your calendars to attend this Wednesday's “Business and Growth Opportunity Forum” hosted by the Washington Diversity and Veterans Foundation. I am excited to participate as a panelist at this forum. The purpose of this event is to better connect our veterans to resources and assist them in becoming successful as entrepreneurs. The event will take place on Wednesday, August 28, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Highline Community College, located at 2400 240th Street, Building 2, in Des Moines. If you need more information on this event and the agenda, a copy of the flyer is included below. I hope to see you there, and encourage you to forward this to anyone who may be interested in veterans' affairs.
We are still holding regular weekly coffee meetings at my office each Friday from 11 a.m. to noon at our district office located at 930 South 336th Street in Federal Way. These casual meetings are open for all constituents to discuss issues, meet your legislative team and connect with other members of the community. I appreciate all the people, including local elected officials, who have taken the time to join past meetings. Coffee, water and light snacks are provided.
