30th District lawmaker to hold town halls March 16 and 23

 

Thirtieth District Rep. Linda Kochmar, R-Federal Way, will hold three town hall meetings March 16 and 23. The district includes Federal Way, Pacific, Algona and Milton. She will share the latest news from Olympia with residents and answer questions about issues facing the Legislature, including K-12 education, transportation and her bill to help victims of human trafficking.

Anyone who is a constituent of the Thirtieth District is invited to participate in these public forums. The town halls will be held:  0023sp March 16:
10:00-11:30 at Federal Way Council Chambers (City Hall)
33325 8th Avenue South Federal Way, WA 98003

1:30-3:00 at Algona Council Chambers (City Hall)
402 Warde Street Algona, WA 98001 March 23:
10:00-11:30 at the Milton Community Center
1000 Laurel Street Milton, WA 98354

“I am excited to be holding these town halls to listen to concerns and suggestions from constituents in the Thirtieth District,” Kochmar said. “As the legislative session picks up and winds down, it is essential that I hear from constituents to learn more about important issues that impact people in our communities. The session is scheduled to end April twenty-eighth and the many issues in line to be vetted will affect jobs, transportation, health care, environment, public safety, education, disability services and numerous others important topics. I want to hear from folks, so I can bring their voices back to Olympia to better represent our district in the state legislature”.
